Book of Remembrance

The Book of Remembrance, housed in our chapel, is updated regularly. The Book provides a beautiful and lasting local memorial for parishioners who have died, whether or not they were associated with any church. Please visit the church or contact us for an application form if you would like to have the name of a loved one added (who has died since October 2012).

Goodbye and hello!

Alan Gower is relinquishing his role on the PCC as treasurer and handing over his longstanding role as Church Warden. I am sure everyone would like to join in echoing the Rector’s big thank you and wish Alan all the best for the future.

We also welcome our new Church Warden Ian Soutar, Deputy Church Warden Melinda Samms. Also Stuart Pugh who has taken up the responsibility as Treasurer on St Margaret’s PCC.

Building Fabric

Painting the Forth Road Bridge is continuing at St Margaret’s with general repairs and maintenance continuing unabated to the Church building. Thankfully the majority of the repairs are manageable but the condition of the pointing on the east side of the spine wall has given cause for concern. Following consultation with the architect quotes are being obtained for the necessary cleaning and remedial work.

      New sign

Keep an eye out for the new Church sign!
